What"s next for Regis? For starters, a luxury cruise
What"s next for Regis Philbin now that his days at Live! with Regis and Kelly are over? As the Cruise Log first reported in July, at least part of his time over the next few months will be spent on a luxury cruise.
Luxury line Crystal is touting Philbin as a celebrity speaker on board the Crystal Serenity"s 94-day World Cruise, which begins in January.
Philbin, who bid farewell to Live! viewers earlier today, will be one of more than a dozen well-known personalities making appearances, entertaining and lecturing on the Serenity sailing. Others include Hall of Famers Hank Aaron (baseball) and Don Shula (football); Olympians Dorothy Hamill (ice skating) and Cathy Rigby (gymnastics); and astronauts "Hoot" Gibson and Rhea Seddon.

Crystal says Philbin will be speaking about his life and career aboard a Hong Kong-to-Osaka segment of the World Cruise that takes place in March. The line says passengers also will get a chance to chat with Philbin via an audience Q&A. His wife, Joy, will accompany him on the sailing.
