Vegas gets a Playboy "party pit" and a rowdy "dayclub"

Vegas gets a Playboy

Blink and you"ll miss a new attraction in Las Vegas. So many pop up.

The Palms Casino Resort, on the cusp of many a trend in Vegas, has launched what it calls a "dayclub." It"s billed as a high-energy, weekly day party 55 floors above the Strip starting at 1 p.m. on Saturdays. GBDC (ghostbar dayclub) features booze and beer bongs, confetti blasts, DJs and more. The dayclub concept looks like the fall/winter equivalent of adult party pools, which have become a summertime success among Vegas visitors and locals, and a daytime moneymaker for resorts.

The Palms also joined another Vegas trend -- so called "party pit" gaming areas. Only the Palms tops others, with Playboy Bunnies doing the dealing at the Playboy Party Pit. Music and sexy dealers can make gamblers distracted. But they"re a ton of fun for the casual player.
