Elvis is dead -- at least in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS -- Shutting down a show is unusual for Cirque du Soleil, which generally is sunshine at the box office.
Las Vegas Weekly says MGM Resorts International has asked Cirque du Soleil to replace Viva Elvis at the ARIA casino resort by the end of 2012. That"s because ticket sales aren"t a hunka hunka burning love, whether due to the quality of the show or because Elvis fans are waning as the years go by.
