Cyber Monday hotel deals: Luxury hotels, beach inns and more
Ready to book hotels for the coming months, whether for business or pleasure?
Hotel operators have ramped up their offerings for Cyber Monday in the last three years, so you may want to examine this year"s crop of deals before you book.

Some of the Cyber Monday deals will save you a few bucks on rooms at brand, spanking new, big-city properties (Trump"s not-yet-open Toronto hotel) while others will mean breaks on beachfront hotels both large (Santa Monica Loews, see photo) and small (FogCatcher Inn).
The deals themselves vary greatly - from discounts to flat out $50 discounts - with Kimpton taking an unusual roll-the-dice style approach that gambling fans will love.

In case you didn"t catch Hotel Check-In"s story earlier this month, Holiday Inn-parent InterContinental Hotels Group kicked off the hotel world"s Black Friday-Cyber Monday frenzy with its "Gotta Get 100" promo. Consumers can get $100 back if they book at least a two-night stay.
Loews Hotels: 20% off
Timing: Access Loews" special at 12:01 a.m. (EST) Monday only online on Loews" website; until then, you"ll find a countdown clock ticking off the moments (4 days, 12 hours, 12 minutes when I last checked). The sale is valid until 11:59 p.m. (EST).
What you"ll get: 20% off Loews Best Rate and free in-room Internet access during length of stay. Rates start at $104 a night. Every Loews hotel is participating except for its two Orlando hotels, the Loews Portofino Bay and Loews Royal Pacific

Omni Hotels & Resorts: Discounted room rates
Timing: Black Friday through Cyber Monday
What you"ll get: The "Holiday Treat" package offers room rates from $79 to $119 for stays through Jan. 31, 2012. Additionally, Omni will give away 100 room nights to 100 lucky followers at Facebook.com/OmniHotels. You can book the promo rates on Omni"s website or by phone, 800-The-Omni. Offer good at all locations.

Kimpton Hotels: Rate roulette
Timing: Book these non-refundable, advance purchase rates any time on Monday.
What you"ll get: Expect excitement, since rates will change "more often than cards on a blackjack table," Kimpton says. You might get a deal for 10% off best available rate - or 35%. Savings will depend on time of booking on Cyber Monday. Good for travel from Nov. 29 until March 31, 2012 for weekends, holidays and other off-peak days.

Marriott: Florida sale
Timing: Cyber Monday
What you"ll get: Up to 25% off on dozens of Marriott hotels in Florida - including JW Marriott, Renaissance (Eden Roc Renaissance in Miami Beach, for instance) and Marriott hotels. Visit the Marriott website for more information. Rates start at from $95 to $186 a night, depending on the hotel. Good for stays through Jan. 8, 2012.
