Blockbuster deal: Boeing locks in its largest-ever order

"Boeing has locked in its biggest order ever."

That"s from The Associated Press, which reports the U.S. jetmaker has finalized a deal with Indonesia"s Lion Air that is officially now the company"s largest-ever commercial airplane order – as measured both by number planes and by dollar value.

The 230-jet deal would be valued at nearly $22 billion at list prices, though most big airline orders typically include substantial discounts.
